Software Tester

A premier Government Department in Canberra seeks the services of an experienced Software Tester who

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and experience in relation to the use of system testing methodologies particularly as they relate to Client Server and web-based technologies
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and experience in relation to testing practices, processes and documentation in relation to manual testing in an iterative system development environment.
Have an ability to work well both as a member of a team and individually, with a diverse range of people, in an equitable, participative and consultative manner to achieve organisational goals.
Demonstrate an ability to work alone, with minimal supervision, take responsibility for tasks, prioritise own workloads experience.

Relevant testing related qualifications and/or testing industry recognised certifications are required.

The contract period is from Mid March 2014 to end June 2014 with further 6 months extension possibilities.

Australian Citizenship and Baseline Security Clearance is highly desirable.
