Software Test Engineer - C/ C++/ Python/ Agile

Location: Bristol: £25,000 - £35,000

A leading company in the entertainment industry based in Bristol are undergoing a rapid expansion in the software department and are looking to fill a Software Test Engineering vacancy with the best candidate on the market.

Key responsibilities include developing test plans in conjunction with the development team, developing manual and automated systems and test plans, and reading C++ application codes to be able to identify why components under test has not met requirements.

Essential Skills required:
- An understanding of software testing techniques and methodology
- At least 5 years practical experience in software testing
- Strong C++ development skills - OO specific
- Knowledge in version control systems
- Embedded Software development exposure

Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of C#
- XML
- Multithread experience
-"Scripting" languages such as Python, Lisp or Ruby would be highly desirable!
