Software Test Engineer

SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER REDMOND, WA 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Our client is the creator of the most popular motorsports game franchise on the market looking for a Level 1 Software Tester to help test art content for their proprietary toolset. Candidates must have experience working on AAA games. This position will work directly with the art team & test team to execute expedited testing & validation of toolset content.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 1+ years of software test experience
- Previous experience executing test cases on a regular basis
- Previous experience with source control & bug tracking solutions (JIRA, DevTrack, TFS, Perforce)
- Previous experience with content pipelines & asset creation toolsets (3ds max/Maya/Blender)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work and excel independently in a multi-discipline development environment

PLUSES:

- 1+ years of experience Embedded on AAA game development teams a big plus
- Understanding of art terminology (UVs, Textures, Materials, Shaders, Meshes, Vertices, etc.) a big plus
- Previous experience authoring test documentation (training/specs/plans/cases) a big plus
- Experience with Unreal Engine 3/CryEngine/Unity a plus
- Experience working with outsourcing art teams a plus
- Working knowledge of MAXScript/C# a plus
- Experience working on racing games a plus
