Software Test Engineer

Our client is shipping the hottest new games console on the market looking for strong Tester to immediately jump in to small team and hit the ground running. Duties will include running manual tests on a daily basis, digging through logs of automated tests and analysing data from other internal processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 1-2 years' work related experience required
- Test experience
- Knowledge of, and experience in, Black Box software testing principles
- Demonstrated ability to define and use common terms and concepts for at least one operating system and environment required
- Beginner to intermediate level knowledge of one or more Scripting languages (JavaScript, VBScript, Perl Script or Windows batch files) preferred
- Working knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), hardware, debugging, and operating systems preferred
- Knowledge of Windows interface guidelines may be required
- Should be able to work independently
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and/or experience with testing preferred

This contract opportunity is expected to be 5 months in duration.
