Software Test Engineer

Our client is a HUGELY POPULAR COMPUTER COMPONENTS MANUFACTURER seeking a candidate to provide 1st level support for MySQL based databases that host project web reports and indicators. For this contract position, you will develop and assist CAD members with scripts owned by the team. Candidate will work with Structural Design Engineers to provide support in the areas of RTL synthesis, static timing and noise analysis, APR, and other Back End related areas. Knowledge of Perl and TCL required.

SCOPE OF WORK:

- 75 - 80% will be first level support
- 20 - 25% will be tool/script development

REQUIREMENTS:

- Very strong Software Programming skills and experience
- MySQL
- Perl
- Tcl

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):

- Verilog
- Knowledge in Logic Design and Validation
- EDA tool experience in Synopsys Design Compiler, Primetime, or IC compiler
- BS or greater degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science

Estimated hours per week: 40 hrs (standard hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM) Overtime is not permitted unless pre-approved by the Intel sponsor
