Software Test Developer

DESCRIPTION

- This is a software testing and test infrastructure development position.
- It involves the development of test hardware, automation infrastructure, test scripts, and the testing for control and/or information product software for a variety of products.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Working with process partners in defining new or enhanced test functionality
- Communicate results to team and process partners and assist with the resolution of any issues
- Develop and build new and innovative test system solutions
- Create testing scripts
- Execute automated testing and automate data analysis of test results

SKILLS:

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- 1 year of work experience with testing either on board or off board software
- 1 year of work experience with test automation
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Work experience in at least 2 of the listed desired qualifications.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience working with National Instruments PXI based systems
- Experience working with dSPACE Hardware in the Loop test systems
- Experience working with Embedded code and ECM's (ECU's)
- Experience/knowledge of construction equipment
- Experience/knowledge of wiring schematics
- Experience programming in ANSI C
- Experience programming in Python
- Experience building shared libraries
- Experience in developing vision testing, including text and object recognition
- Experience working with datalinks (CAN, LAN, USB)
- Experience creating physics based models using Matlab/Simulink
- Experience developing machine motion relation control systems
- Experience using version control and product life cycle management tools
