Software Test Automation Developer

TEST AUTOMATION DEVELOPER- CONTRACT-HILLSBORO, OR

Our client is the leading manufacturer of computer components looking for a TEST AUTOMATION DEVELOPER with 4-5 years of experience. The candidate will be part of a team developing validation components for distributed computing involving audio, video, imaging and cloud technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing test tools and validating the software components. S/He should be experienced in development and implementation of test automation and tools for validating various interfaces across each of the components. The candidate will work in a SCRUM team and will be responsible for participating in defining acceptance criteria, developing and executing tests including automation and ensuring the delivery of a quality product.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- BS/CS with 4-5 years as a Developer in test engineering with programming experience in C# and Java are minimum requirements
- Proficiency in developing scripts, developing test harnesses, automated test suites, .NET, multimedia, load testing experience, programming in Python and Perl a plus
- Experience in multimedia and imaging products along Android and IOS applications with the ability to isolate problem areas a plus
- Successful candidate will have a keen understanding of the software engineering, quality assurance process and software development cycle, possess good communication skills, be self-motivated, self-directed and a good team player
