This candidate will be the client liaison for all testing. S/He will conduct scheduled meetings and maintain reports on progress. The QA Analyst is responsible for working directly with business customers and IT to ensure that their software needs for testing are addressed. Candidate needs to be proactive and able to communicate clearly with many levels of management regarding testing.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, and four years test engineering experience with two years of experience working on complex projects
- Or an equivalent combination of education and four years test engineering experience with two years of experience working on complex projects
- Or five years of experience in test engineering, two years of experience working on complex time-boxed projects
- Technical competency or work experience in creating test scripts for automated regression and performance testing
- Experience writing automated testing scripts
- Experience working with business partners in writing detailed test plans

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Ability to execute detailed test procedures, manual or automatic, designed to validate application functional requirements
- Ability to documents defect in a tracking system
- Tools support skills including implementation, break-fix coordination with vendor
- Patch and upgrade testing of vendor testing package, coordination and implementation
- IT and project support for all Tools
- Some environment management focused on system testing environments, including refreshes, validations scripts for testing integrity of data post refreshes, scheduling and coordinating planned upgrades/patches from infrastructure team (Oracle, Sybase, Network etc.)
- Ability to contribute to and support quality initiatives by encouraging team and individual contributions toward the corporations quality improvement efforts
