SOFTWARE PACKAGING ENGINEER/1 YEAR/BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

For one of my clients I'm urgently looking for a Software Packaging Engineer for an initial contract of 1 year.

Job description

- AdminStudio MSI Application Packaging and coordination.
- Application virtualisation using Microsoft App-V 5.
- Support problem determination for packaging issues
- Customer support and advice for Application Management and Migration.
- Follow up Release Management process.

Required skills

- 5+ years of MSI packaging experience (preferably using AdminStudio).
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft App-V and other virtualisation technologies.
- Knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 8, registry, Windows Installer, Active Directory.
- MCSE 2000-2008, Citrix, AppSense and ITIL background is required.
- Capable of reviewing package intake documents, understanding the technical background of the information.
- Knowledgeable about the general SCCM package distribution and Windows installation process (access rights, distribution groups, different environments )
- Organizational skills and meticulous follow up of predefined processes.
- Analytical skills, capable of problem determination support when packages do not install or deploy as expected.
