Software Packages Engineer

For our client from the high tech industry located in Brabant, the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a software pakages engineer.

Duration: 3 months
Work location: Eindhoven

Motivation:
To create open source (installation) packages for the Linux environment.
Cadappl is a tool which facilitates in archiving and deploying software applications.
The packages are required to get Clearcase running on the new Eclipse/Linux environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Downloading, extracting, building S/W packages for the new Linux Desktop Environment project.
Works in a very structured and accurate manner.

General Information:
Engineer must have skills on:
- Perl
- Shell Scripting
- Solaris, Linux
- (gnu) make knowledge

Note: Junior/Medior expertise level might also be sufficient if candidate has basic required skills and is capable of working in a structured and accurate way.
