Software Maintanance and Development Engineer (m/f)

Aufgaben:

• You are working with a distributed high redundant IT system in the field of Emergency Call Centers
• You are member of an agile Software team
• You are working on the maintenance and extension of existing Java Software components / system
• You will bugfix and refactor existing SW components
• You will implement and test new features
• You will document the results

Skills:

• Qualified senior engineer in communication- and IT systems for at least 3 Years
• Extensive work experience in the area of software development
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Good command of JAVA backend programming including unit test experience
• Experience in use of development tools (Eclipse, Java7, JavaFX, JMS, XML, UML, SQL, JUnit, SWING, Ant, Maven, Wire Shark, SVN, DOORS)
• Experience with JMS, VoIP, Design Patterns, Clean Code principles, Distributed Systems
• Knowledge of LINUX and Windows OS, multi-threading, and Network protocols (RTP) and tools (e.g. Wireshark) principles, Distributed Systems
• ActiveMQ expertise is a plus
• German & English language fluent
• Ability to work independently
• Mobility, team player
