Introduction
As Software License Manager you are a key player within the IT O&I Application Support department.
He or she manages a small team that consists of two License Managers. Deals with multiple software vendors and internal IT and Business stakeholders, manages software maintenance contracts and multiple license structures, is budget responsible for acquired IT Licenses and Maintenance support contracts, and manages the financials of Application Support department.

Job Mission    
The Software License Manager Application Support is responsible for optimizations within the license models in order to achieve cost reduction and supports the business on a global level to meet compliance requirements. Manages accurate license administration and manages the efficient use of license constructions (eg license pools) with the team.
Renews, create and further professionalize the management and administration of the IT Software contracts, in co-operation with Procurement negotiates changes and improve as needed to ensure compliance with company policy. Manages software contracts within set budget, and supports Application Support peers and O
- Pro-active collaboration with Stakeholders regarding license demand;
- Closely co-operates with Procurement/Contract Management to ensure supplier conformity to necessary license conditions;
- Manages and guides the team to ensure the optimal available licensing scheme is used for the business;
- Proactively look for license schemes improvements;
- Maintains an accurate, well-organized license administration of all current global license volumes, and provides periodically reports (eg. Capex reporting, Actuals vs Latest estimates );
- Manage the team for efficient use of license constructions;
- Analyze and leverage data required for license compliancy;
- Provides regularly status reports and progress reports on contracts, renewals, extensions, planned audits and escalations
- Manages the budget of Application Support. (Licenses, Outsourcing contracts, Contracted labor);
- Manages budget cycle process. Periodically review meetings with Contract owners, establish latest estimates reporting against actuals

Education
Bachelors or master's degree in Information Business Administration or Industrial Management with proven experience in Software Asset Management/License management, process management, finance and affinity to IT.

EXPERIENCE

- >5 years' experience in renewal, creation and professionalizing the management and administration of IT software asset management/license management;
- Knowledge of software buy/lease constructions, software models, software market insight in general;
- Conceptual knowledge of IT-infrastructure, client, business and engineering applications;
- Familiar with outsourcing contracts and its financials, etc.
- Costs control, budgeting and financial management;
