Randstad Professionals is actively looking for a Software Asset Manager to join their banking client for a 3 month contract in Zurich, Switzerland.
This project gives an opportunity to work within a growing team which recently took on the responsibility to provide visibility into the commercial/license aspects of software.
The role will involve research/identification of documents (mainly contracts, invoices, licensing guides, ), reviewing and analysing documents to extract SAM relevant data, as well as giving trainings on applicable license and maintenance terms and conditions for people responsible for managing software deployments.
In addition and depending on urgency, documentation of the used approach, consolidation of gathered data and calculation of license consumption will also be included in the main tasks.
I'm looking for a person who has experience in dealing with software contracts, a strong understanding of software license terms and how license consumption is determined.
A background in a similar role gives a great advantage but banking experience is not required.
Effective stakeholder managemence, experience in facing senior business stakeholders and ability to engage with sourcing experts as well as IT product/service managers are a main part of the role.
