Software Integration Test Engineer

Software Engineers required to support in the development, integration and testing of radar target generation electronics hardware with analogue radio frequency (RF) electronics, field programmable gate array (FPGA) electronics and Real Time C++ and Visual Basic software elements.

The successful applicant will manage the procurement of electronics hardware, modify existing Visual Basic and C++ software applications and take part in the test and acceptance of the hardware including field trials. Provide guidance and expertise on the requirements management, software development, test and acceptance and configuration control processes.

The successful candidate will have software design and test planning experience so test equipment, field trials and Systems Integration experience is essential. Hardware and software configuration control and requirements management (using DOORS) also required.
You will be experience in C++, Visual Basic and Linux and familiar with the use of spectrum analyser, oscilloscope and signal generator.

Desirable experience includes CE marking and EN/IEC standards, Matlab, USB protocols, Python, Xilinx FPGA design using Synplify. Radar and target generation and procurement of electronics hardware.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo SC Clearance so it is anticipated that candidates will current SC clearance would be advantageous but could consider someone starting on a lower level clearance and applying for SC.
