Software Infrastructure Engineer

*SOFTWARE INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER NEEDED*

DEVELOP/ENHANCE A TEST EXECUTION AND REPORTING INFRASTRUCTURE AND SUPPORT ON-GOING TEST EXECUTION AS REQUIRED

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execute Security test plans on weekly basis.
- Understand test development, execution and triage processes.
- Contribute to or follow a test plan and utilize a general understanding of software development life cycles.
- Contribute to test automation and test development
- Provide Lab support, system installation, maintenance and support.
- Communicate effectively with product owners, validation partners and managers regarding issues, stability, and general quality.
- File defects quickly, with complete information, to promote early resolution, and verify implementation and work towards defects closure.
- Provide timely test reports and defect indicators.
- Assume responsibility towards closure of these issues.
- Work in a team environment.
- Escalate any issues to their Engineering Management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ experience supporting/creating test execution systems
- 5+ years of experience with test execution, triage and reporting
- Experience creating Test Automation and Report Infrastructures
- Python development and debug experience
- Linux Platforms experience
- Experience with software test execution
- Experience developing test automation infrastructure
- Scripting skills - preferably Python
- Experience with Linux OS and applications
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to multitask with excellent experience in cross-team interaction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality and consistently adhere to IT Solutions policies and procedures
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, flexible, and able to work in an ambiguous and/or changing environment

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
