Software Engineer Windows 8

OUR CLIENT IS A HUGELY POPULAR COMPUTER COMPONENTS COMPANY SEEKING A SOFTWARE ENGINEER TO PROVIDE DEVELOPMENT FOR WINDOWS 8 BASED TABLETS.

Responsibilities will include software development, porting, refactoring, coding, debugging, and some meeting participation.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 5-8 years of experience and senior-level expertise
- Microsoft application and service development using Visual Studio 2010+
- C#, LINQ,.NET 3.5+
- .NET/Windows APIs and frameworks, eg WMI, WPF
- Object Oriented Design and development
- Software development life cycle and agile/scrum

NICE TO HAVE

- User interface (eg WPF) experience
- Windows 8 programming
- Understanding of WMI API
- Understanding of.NET to COM/native interop
- Experience or familiarity with Scrum
- Nunit or MS Test framework
- Tablet/Touch First development experience
- Internationalization/Localization experience.
