Software Engineer - Tivoli

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER - TIVOLI to join our client in the O'Fallon, Missouri area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for the analysis, design, development and delivery of software solutions.
- Define requirements for new applications and customization adhering to internal standards, processes and best practices.
- Architect and oversee the development and testing of security solutions for security components of the B2B platform.
- Plan, and design technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements in adherence with internal standards, processes and best practices in support of the B2B security stack.
- Create custom ITIM workflows and TDI scripts.
- Lead day to day system development and maintenance activities of the team.
- Create detailed cost and time estimates for new project requirements and assist project manager with managing scope during the life cycle of the project.
- Ensure adequate test coverage in Unit Testing, System Testing/Integration Testing and Performance Testing.
- Perform Quality Inspections and Walkthroughs throughout the SDLC including Requirements Review, Architecture Review, Design Review, Code Review and Security Review to ensure compliance with internal standards.
- Support collection and reporting of project and software metrics. Actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency.
- Perform as Subject Matter Expert for project and Operational support teams.
- Create detailed turnover documentation to transition new feature support to operational teams.
- Ensure compliance to the defined standards.
- Actively look for opportunities to modify and enhance standards per the needs of the department.
- Develop documentation templates, lead and enforce development of documentation throughout the development life cycle of the solution.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- IBM Tivoli product knowledge required.
- Five (5+) years advanced ITIM experience and design.
- Two (2+) years TDI experience is required.
- Two (2+) of Java experience is desired.
- Experience working with Oracle.
- WebSphere experience is preferred.
- Broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
- Agile experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
