Software Engineer - Test Job

SOFTWARE ENGINEER - TEST needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client in Portland, OR.

- Software Testing
- Linux and Android OS

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Software Developer will be researching, documenting, discovering and validating bugs in latest builds of various Android operating systems.
- Software Engineer will run tests to provide key information for design-win and design-in technical support to OEMs and Operating System solution vendors.
- Software Engineer will be submitting and filing bugs, creating reports and interfacing with Interdisciplinary Team to improve overall performance of the product.
- Software Engineer will work with other test engineers and with the lead tester to implement various well defined test plans and creating new test plans.
- Software engineer may also be asked to work on preparing and troubleshooting demos for events, conferences possibly with customers/partners.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, EE or related subject matter.
- Minimum three (3) plus years in Software Testing or Linux/Android development.
- Working knowledge of Android and Linux internals

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Masters of Science in Computer Science, EE or related subject matter.
- Sold working knowledge of Android SDK and Linux Kernel
