Software Engineer Test Automation (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Design and develop software components, platforms for automated testing of the software solution, focusing on medical device performance
- Create and maintain software design documents, user guides, interface descriptions, presentations, introduction documents
- Specify, design and develop automated test structure for different categories of tests
- Support integration of automated tests in the continuous integration system
- Continuously ensure code quality and clean code, develop new automated tests, maintain the automated test code base, maintain an adequate test coverage
- Develop automated tests to replace or to complement manual tests in collaboration with manual verification teams 
- Report test results and test coverage to main stakeholders
- Take on responsibility to sustain the functions of the application and proactively conduct root cause analysis  

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline
- Working experience with state of the art software development technologies and tools
- Working experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Android, C# /.NET, C++, Python
- Good understanding of software design methodologies including OOA/OOD, UML
- Good understanding of software design principles (SOLID, clean code, design patterns)
- Good English skills in both verbal and written communication, good German skills are an advantage
