Software Engineer Senior

For our international end client we are looking for a senior software engineer

Start: ASAP
Period: 3 months with an option to extend
Location: Venlo

Introduction:
Software engineer in user interface development team of print system controller.

Position`s main tasks:
Full cycle software development, from requirements to implementation and automatic and
manual testing.

Need to have:
- Bachelor degree
- 5-10 years of experience with software engineering in a technical environment
- Ample experience with Java
- Experience with HTML5, Javascript, Phyton, XML/XSLT, Angular JS framework, CSS
- Familiar with Agile software development like Scrum or eager to work in this way
- Good communication skills. Good dose of perseverance
- Fluent in English, reading and writing
- Proven ability to be very productive and disciplined team player
- Able to make optimal choice between Quality and Time - Able to work in project where not always Functional Specifications or Impact Analysis are finalised.
- Not hesitant in retrieving information from other colleagues to get this work done.
- Pro-active, show initiative, work independent
- Good verbal and written skills in Dutch and English
- Try and `can do` attitude
- Able to recognize and judge interests of other teams in order to create win-win situations
- Able to cope with stressful situations
- Reliable and convincing in advising technical lead and/or management.

Nice to have:
- Experience with the used development environment tools (TFS/Eclipse)
