Our client is a global leader in eCommerce payment management seeking a qualified Developer to work with cutting-edge eCommerce and mobile payment platforms and lead efforts to design and implement various aspects of global transaction processing systems. You are self-motivated and function as a technical leader across multiple development teams. You are an excellent verbal and written communicator and are willing to coach/mentor team members. As a member of an Agile/Scrum team, you participate in the full software development life cycle from analysis to release.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Decompose large requirements into reusable components that scale to serve hundreds of thousands of customers or process millions of transactions.
- Aggressively drive stories from concept to acceptance.
- Write code from Back End business logic all the way to the presentation layer.
- Write and debug stored procedures and understand performance issues.
- Debug problems with and without presence of debugging tools, ie using log files, event logs, etc.
- Participate with QA to design and implement acceptance tests.

REQUIREMENTS:

- BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent)
- 8+ years developing mission critical web and Back End applications in various capacities (individual contributor, lead, etc.)
- 6+ years hands on C#, ASP.NET, WCF software development
- Strong OO design skills
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Fluent practitioner of Test Driven Development
- Expert unit tester, understands mocks, stubs, etc.
- Fluency in Transact SQL with ability to write and debug stored procedures and understand performance issues
- Understanding of XML, XPATH and XSLT
- Understanding of JavaScript and client side frameworks
- Strong debugging skills
- Experience with C++ a big plus (ability to read code and diagnose problems)
- eCommerce and mobile payment platforms experience nice to have
