Software Engineer: Networking Development

Our super high-visibility client developing an IP Multimedia Subsystem platform software for next generation tablets and phones. The software will support voice, video and Rich Communication Services IMS traffic over cellular and Wi-Fi networks. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is experienced in IMS and RCS software development and system level integration.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

- Ramp up quickly on requirements, architecture, test environment and tools
- Develop IMS software
- Integrate and validate software subsystems to ensure they satisfy system level functional requirements and use cases
- Debug and triage defects found in software bring-up and validation
- Work with teams locally and around the world
- Work productively with minimal supervision
- Platform level Power and Performance measurement and optimization

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must possess a BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Communication Technology or Electronics
- 2+ years of professional programming experience in C/C++ on Windows platforms
- 2+ years of professional programming experience in MFC
- 3+ years of experience in Wireless technologies (WiFi, 3G/LTE, IMS/RCS)
- Experience with Windows Visual Studio
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills in C/C++/MFC on Windows
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle, Object-Oriented Design and Development
- Experience developing software products targeted for Windows OSs (Win7/Win8.x)
- IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) or Rich Communication Services (RCS) experience
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Perforce/Git/ClearCase/UCM experience would be an added advantage
- Windows COM interface, UI, IPC preferred
