Software Engineer (NATO)

Scope of Work

*1 consultant is required to work within the NCIA SSBA Business Applications Services Group to provide support to the APMS FOC project team.
*The technical profile/labour category of the contractor is Support Area 1/Software Engineer/IT Services:
-Information Systems Engineer (Level 3)

2.3Description of Tasks to Be Performed

*Under the lead of the APMS Service Owner and APMS FOC Technical Lead, the incumbent will capture knowledge transfer inputs from Technical staff within SHAPE J1 HRDS and document gaps identified in support of the migration strategy from APMS IOC to FOC:
-reports (priority 1),
-security and authority model (roles and privileges) (priority 1),
-replication (priority 2),
-interfaces with AMIS, NSTEP, ISIPS, PRIAMOS and IPDB (priority 2) and
-IOC specific personalisations, views and filters (priority 2).

*The incumbent will also support the definition and execution of action items meant to resolve the documented gaps if time permits

2.8 Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Essential:
-Degree-qualified in Engineering or Science;
-Microsoft SQL Server (2012) Reporting Services (SSRS);
-ISTQB Advanced Level (CTAL) Test Manager
-Project Manager, Prince 2 Practitioner;

*Preferred:
-Certified Process Professional - CPP Professional;

EXPERIENCES/COMPETENCES/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
*Essential:
-Experience in software project organisation and management;
-Experience with software QA methods;
-Experience in software engineering;
-Experience with software Requirement Analysis;
-Experience with Business Process Management Suites (preferably Sequence Kinetics);

Must have SC/DV/NATO clearance to apply
