SOFTWARE ENGINEER LABVIEW 100% (M/W) - Lucerne, Switzerland

Role:

For one of our clients we are looking for Software Engineer LabVIEW EXPERTISE to support him on one of his current projects. The role is contract position for 3 months (with strong possibility of extension) close to Lucerne (Rotkreuz), Switzerland.

Main Tasks:

- Participation in the development of the LabVIEW platform
- Participation in projects in the development of LabVIEW software for test systems
- Participation in the creation of requirements for new test systems
- Participation in the creation of test and production concepts
- Creation of concepts including Architecture
- Creation of functional specifications based on requirements and created concepts
- Creation of cost and time estimates of the implementation
- Realization, function test and documentation of the systems
- Support in the qualification and validation
- Transfer to the users including training
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

- 5 (+) years of professional experience in SW development
- Very good LabVIEW knowledge (level CLD certification and at least approx. 5 years' experience with programming and debugging)
- Practical experience with NI hardware and electronics (troubleshooting, circuit analysis, wiring)
- Practical experience in the development, maintenance and debugging of test systems (equipment construction with mechanics, electronics and software)
- Experience in subproject management (cost estimation, controlling, organisation, technical management of smaller project groups, ...)
- Experience in subproject management (cost estimation, controlling, technical management of small teams)
- Interest at interdisciplinary problems

Education:

- Bachelor or master's Degree in electrical engineering or ETH or FH with studies in electrical engineering, automation, computer science or related fields

Languages:

- German: Very good knowledge/native language (C1/C2)
- English: Very good knowledge (B2/C1)
