Software Engineer - Embedded

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE ENGINEER - EMBEDDED to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Software (SW) Engineer will investigate, develop, prototype, and evaluate new technologies.
- Software Engineer will develop software drivers, low-level modules and infrastructure for products.
- Software Engineer will take part in implementation and integration of firmware, testing and debugging, developing utilities for system integration and product testing, and documentation of all activities to an agreed standard.
- Other responsibilities include: writing diagnostics utilities and test modules that are used in the validation and test of products.
- The SW Engineer will also be responsible for capturing, analysing and documenting requirements.

Job Qualifications:
- B.S. in EE, CS or related subject matter.
- Minimum three plus (3+) years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong C, C++ programming experience for microcontrollers and device drivers in Linux development environments.
- Experience in Linux Kernel, File System, and OS.
- Experience in design and implementation of multitasking, event driven firmware using C.
