JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Pax River, MD.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The selected candidate will be a member of a team in establishing and maintaining an Agile Scrum Software development project for the production of a new ASW Air Platform computing architecture for the U.S. Navy.
- This effort will be cornerstone of a foundation towards the development of a system-of-systems/family-of-systems information exchange architecture providing net-centric capability for the Air ASW Warfare Domain.
- This project will require the right brand of innovation, initiative, and engineering skills to bring together a solution that reaches well beyond the traditional systems development for Military Combat Platforms.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in a qualified Engineering discipline, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Software Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Three to eight (3 - 8) years of solid software systems development experience
- Experience developing in an agile environment such as SCRUM is a plus
- Software Architecture and/or Software Systems Architecture and Design experience is a plus.
- Experience with Real Time and time sensitive application development.
- Experience with Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) and Data Centric Architectures is a plus.
- Development within a Service Oriented Architecture or Service Based Infrastructure
- Business Process Modeling and Engineering
- Full understanding of Software Systems Life Cycle Management
- Understanding in DoD Information Assurance (IA), Quality Assurance (QA), Configuration Management (CM) standards and policies.
- Data Modeling
- Must be willing to travel. Also the candidate must either currently hold or be eligible to receive a SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE at the time of employment.
- Must be currently eligible to work in the US for any employer.
