Software Engineer

Location: Veldhoven (Eindhoven)
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months, on proven ability intending to hire for a longer time
Hours a week: 40

MOTIVATION:
The development team needs an experienced software engineer for the development of an integration test framework. Besides the implementation of a test framework, tools need to be tested on their compatibility with the new build system. Tools need to be adapted when necessary.

THE SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL WORK ON THE FOLLOWING DELIVERABLES:

- Creation and implementation of test framework for redesign build system
- Testing of software tools on compatibility new build system
- Adaption of software tools when not compatible with new build system

EXPERIENCE:

- Creation and set-up of software test frameworks like Cucumber.
- Experience with Object Oriented software development ( > 2 years)
- Proven technical (writing hooks and creating tools) test automation experience (>5 years)
- UML (reading)
- Working knowledge of make
- Experience with working on a Linux environment (bash Scripting, Perl, regular expressions)
- Agile software development
- Experience with Ruby is a pre
