Software Engineer

.NET/C# SOFTWARE DEVELOPER-CHANDLER, AZ-5 MONTH CONTRACT

The leading computer components manufacturer is looking for a Software Engineer proficient in .NET/C# to help develop and maintain test automation framework, create/debug multiple WIX/MSI installers, and develop viable tools for our software stack. The position requires the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects while balancing deadlines and priority levels, in addition to frequently communicating the progress of current projects with the team.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Experience in software design/development on Microsoft Windows platforms using Visual Studio
- . NET 3.5/4.0/C#
- XML
- HTML
- XAML
- Agile development
- Experience with source control, eg Perforce, Clear Case, etc.
- Validation and Windows Testing experience
- Unit Level Testing and QA/Validation skills used daily
- Microsoft Windows system knowledge
- Must be able to work independently and show initiative in driving open issues and defects to closure
- Ability to track and prioritize multiple tasks, to deliver quality products under tight deadlines
- Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor and outstanding work ethic in a fast-paced, pressure-filled environment
- Must display excellent verbal and written communications skills, as interaction with external teams will frequently be required

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- 2-5 years relevant experience
- C++/STL/WinAPI-Win32
- WIX Toolset experience
- MSI/Windows Installer experience
- PowerShell
- Batch Processing
- Linux

DEGREE REQUIRED: Minimum B.S. in Computer Science, CE, EE, IS or similar
