A leading audio company who design and manufacture high fidelity audio products are looking for a Software Engineer to work as part of their design team on an initial 6 month contract with a high possibility of future extensions.

As the software engineer your main responsibilities will include to design, code, test, debug and release Linux applications. Interface to hardware and mechanical teams to define specification and resolve issues. Liaise with test and service departments to produce clear product releases to deadline. Progress software releases through the new product introduction process to meet customer requirements.

Essential Skills
* Strong UI Focus
* Strong QT on Linux
* C++ knowledge
* GUI

Desirable Skills
* Android or IOS app development
* Previous experience working on entertainment systems within the automotive industry
* Programming audio protocols such as audio streaming technologies
* Database programming on Embedded Systems
* Consumer audio industry experience
