Software Development Process & Control Specialist

For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS & CONTROL SPECIALIST

You will ensure follow-up of the implemented workflows and provide the HP ALM/SAP Solution Manager Specialists with detailed requirements. You will propose improvements/changes to the current Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and support the organisation to adapt to new tools and methodologies, including new SAP development constraints. After implementation, you will define and put in place controlling actions to ensure that the rules are correctly applied.

Responsibilities will include:

- Definition and implementation of software development processes (SDLC) and procedures, with Quality Assurance Management
- Optimisation of development processes (Agile, Waterfall, SAP and Non-SAP) to support the business strategy and deliver best time to market in respect of IS/IT constraints with Quality Assurance Management
- Participate in identification of organisational issues and propose solutions
- Communicate the changes to all stakeholders via training material, documentation and training organisation
- DEFINE AND DOCUMENT QUALITY CONTROL AREAS ACCORDING TO QUALITY ASSURANCE GUIDELINES AND POLICIES
- IMPLEMENT QUALITY CONTROL ACTIVITIES, PROCESSES AND TOOLS

CANDIDATES WISHING TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- Knowledge of configuration, testing and implementation of SAP Solution Manager functionalities (Change Request Management, Change Control Management, Document Management)
- Knowledge of IT Quality Assurance and governance standards (COBIT, CMMI for development, ITIL, ISO 9001)
- Knowledge of development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and languages (J2EE, SOA, Internet)
- Ability to develop processes and procedures for governance around the use and deployment of SAP Solution Manager and HP ALM
- Strong analysis skills
- A strong customer-focused attitude
- Good communication skills (written and spoken) in both ENGLISH AND FRENCH

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION WITH AN INTERNATIONAL CLIENT UNTIL THE END OF 2013 IN THE FIRST INSTANCE, BUT WITH A GOOD CHANCE OF EXTENSION INTO 2014. THE CLIENT IS LOCATED ON LAKE GENEVA, IN LAUSANNE. INFO-TECH WILL PROVIDE ADVICE AND SUPPORT THROUGH YOUR RELOCATION IF YOU ARE WORKING IN SWITZERLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME.
