Software Development Manager
ENDEAVOUR RECRUITMENT has an exciting 3-6 (plus) month contract opportunity for a Software Development Manager to work with our Global Trading client in Brussels, Belgium
Our client is looking for a temporary Software Development Manager to sustain the organizational growth, and the changed structure by adding new services and to achieve the desired level of quality
THE ROLE
- The Software Development Manager will support the ICT Manager to handle the different Software
- S/he will work closely with the different teams and reports directly to the ICT Manager.
- The position is based in Brussels, Belgium.
- The candidate is experienced in software development, in special in the development of web applications and project management.
THE CANDIDATE
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project management for the different implementation projects
- Business Analysis - Functional and non-functional Requirements Analysis
- Request-for-Information/Proposal/Quotation tracks
- Information gathering for the RFI/RFP/RFQ process
- Writing RFI/RFP/RFQ
- Manage/Follow-up RFI/RFP/RFQ process
- Evaluation of Answers
- Developing and Guarding the technical site of the projects
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong leadership, communication and project management skills
- Strong understanding of the software development cycle
- Ability to work with a multi-cultural team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent English language skills. Dutch is an asset as are German and/or French.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in project management
- Minimum 7 years' experience in working through the design, development, release cycle and delivering software products to market.
- Experience in web application and web services development. Experience in 'app'-development is an asset.
- Experience in Cloud-based solutions
