I am representing a company based inExeterarea that is achieving massive growth despite the tough economic conditions.

The company have developed innovative, bespoke software solutions for internal use and they are now seeking a Development Manager to take responsibility for the team of software developers.

You will report to the company directors and will be responsible for the day to day management and motivation of the developers as well as running projects, allocating workload and ensuring the quality of work is both robust and scaleable. My client will have a focus on improving their products and processes and will therefore look to you to bring new ideas and implement change.

Skills Required
* Experience in a similar role i.e. software development manager, product manager.
* C#, .NET 3.5/4.0 and SQL Server experience.
* Development experience in a specialist market i.e. Data Migration, Data Transfer.
management - motivating staff, monitoring performance, development plans etc
* Project Management
* Experience of migration or re-write projects highly desirable
* A strong communicator with a pro-active approach and experience working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
