Software Development Engineer (Server Solutions) - Gaming

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER to join our client in Kirkland, WA.

JOB OVERVIEWS:

- Our client is looking for a self-driven and experienced SDE to help design and implement server solutions for large-scale multiplayer experiences. You'll be responsible for building re-usable, scalable, high performance Back End services to support new ground-breaking gaming titles. In addition to the qualifications, below, the successful candidate will show exceptional skills in the following area:
- Engineering Excellence: You have designed and implemented web-scale online services that demand high service availability and have stringent metrics in terms of performance, customer satisfaction, efficiency, and reliability.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Deliver "always-on" services with a strong focus towards customer satisfaction, engineering rigor, and applicable regulatory, legal, privacy, security compliance.
- Develop Back End systems to high service scalability, performance, and availability.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Five (5) plus years professional software development experience.
- Demonstrated solid skills in databases, C++/C#, ASP.NET and Windows server technologies. Preferably including Azure.
- End-to-end experience designing and implementing multi-tier server solutions, including scalability challenges, deployment strategies, and test methodologies.
- Proficiency in REST-ful API design.
- Passion for gaming and innovation across multiple devices.
- Solid design, coding, and debugging skills.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Development experience building cloud applications like AZURE and EC2.
- Experience with enterprise data architecture, data integration patterns; design, implementation, and operations.
