Software Development Engineer

SUMMARY:

- Develop automated test measurement and test execution solutions for Embedded controls validation.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Research, develop, and integrate methods for product test execution, measurement, and data storage.
- Model/simulate mechanical systems under electronic control.
- Document resulting work products.
- Validate as necessary.

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Two+ years Engineering or software development experience required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Proven competency in ANSI C, Python and software development methodologies are required.
- Exposure to Mathworks Simulink development.
- Experience using MS Excel.
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
- Team player and detail oriented.
- Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer generated reports.
