Software Development Engineer

Our client is the leading online retail company seeking a Software Developer for a premium contract opportunity.

JOB FUNCTIONS

- Perform analysis of capabilities of existing and upcoming operating systems for use in enterprise accounts.
- Document features in the existing and upcoming operating systems and what features are missing for device use in enterprise accounts.
- Generate list of APIs needed to support industry standard mobile device management system.
- Prototype feature adds and measure and report performance changes.
- Scope effort to add missing features and deliver project plan.
- Work cross-team and personally to prototype and deliver scoped features.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong experience as a Developer
- Extensive C/C++ experience building complex systems
- Ability to investigate, architect, document and prototype complex systems
- Ability to measure performance and analyze where bottlenecks exist
- Experience with Android
- Must be local to the Greater Seattle area

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Security and networking knowledge
- Industry standard Mobile Device Management experience a plus

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
