Software Developer - Test

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - TEST to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Software Engineer will be responsible for developing validation components for distributed computing involving audio, video, imaging and cloud technologies.
- Developing test tools and validating the software components
- Developing and executing the tests that validate the product specifications, document the test results and interact with the developers to ensure a quality product.
- Analyzing HW/SW requirements, identifying potential problems early in the product life cycle and ensure product quality issues are resolved in a timely fashion.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/CS with four to five (4-5) years as a Software Engineer
- Experience in testing multimedia and imaging products along with Middleware testing and debugging are minimum requirements.
- Proficiency in developing scripts, developing test harnesses, automated test suites using C# and Java.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
- Proficiency in developing scripts, developing test harnesses, automated test suites, .NET, communication protocols, multimedia, load testing experience, programming in Python and Perl is a plus.
- Experience in testing Android and IOS applications with the ability to isolate problem areas is highly desired.
