We have an exciting new opportunity working with one of the largest Telecommunication companies in the world. Our client are looking for a Software Developer who has experience with Microsoft .NET framework to join their team in Hemel Hempstead for a 6 month contract.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER - TELECOMS - RESPONSIBILITIES;

- Architectural design in accordance with industry standards and methodology
- Database design in accordance with industry standards and methodology
- Naming convention (as per methodology guidelines) is followed in applicable areas, ie, programming languages, database designs, documentation
- Identification of sprint feasibility where applicable
- Provide feedback (quality) to SBA of specification document
- Recommendations to SBA on review of system requirements
- Progress updates to Web Solutions Technical Lead
- Development delivery estimations according to IA process agreed
- Notification to SBA when Software Development estimations need to be amended
- Notification to SBA when scope creep affects delivery estimations and delivery date
- Segregation of duties with other developers
- Development delivery management if necessary
- Supporting Web Solutions Technical Lead bringing in new best practices
- Coordinating with support team members regarding tools and applications support
- Adapting SDT operating model in project life cycle and also other ways of working practices
