Software Developer (Javascript/Actionscript)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This senior software development position will add value to the Core Video Player development team as they develop the 2014 March Madness basketball tournament desktop web video player and application features.

This position will be involved in the WEB APP DEVELOPMENT AND VIDEO PLAYER INTEGRATIONS Into the March Madness 2014 web app, primarily using Adobe Flash technologies.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

- Work close with Technical leads to help design the March Madness 2014 desktop application using Flash Technologies around video playback.
- Collaborate with Product Management on proof of concepts, demos, and prototypes.
- Be a key member of an experienced development team using existing knowledge.
- Document designs clearly and efficiently.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of professional core software development experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- PROFICIENCY IN JAVASCRIPT AND ACTIONSCRIPT.
- Work in a very fast paced environment and be self-sufficient
- Must be responsible, accountable, and have a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of Flash Video Player technologies, or other digital media technologies
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and fundamentals of computer science
- Demonstrates ability to master new technologies quickly
