Software Developer - Clipper - Xharbour - DOS - ADS - Support - Contra

IDPP is currently recruiting for a Clipper/xHarbour Development & Support Consultant to join team and take a hands on role in the support and development of these key client applications located in the Netherlands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for undertaking the development and support of specific applications
- Undertake 3rd line support
- Implement Clipper/xBase/xHarbour Change Requests, Debugging, Data operations, Data process automation, Data file transfers, External data vendor connections
- Ensure Sybase/Novell ADS database management and optimization
- Ensure the reporting and compliance operations is carried out

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Clipper/xHarbour development experience
- Sybase ADS version 9 (Novell) and 11 (Windows) database design/management/operations/replication
- Novell Netware 6.5 OS experience
- Data transformations/imports/exports (CSV/SQL/Excel)
- Batch Scripting

DESIRABLE SKILLS BUT NOT MANDATORY:

- Kirby batch scheduling/Scripting
- MS DOS 6.2
- Windows

LANGUAGE:

English - fluency
