Software Developer - C# Developer, ASP.NET, C#, WCF, Entity Framework

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Software Developer to join a Large FTSE 100 Financial Services Company based in Nottingham. The successful candidates will be joining a fast-expanding team of software developers, supporting development on a variety of my client's products and client solutions.

Main Duties will include:

Analysis of current applications and infrastructure for upgrades
Review project proposals, evaluate alternatives, provide estimates and make recommendations
Collaborate effectively across the global product development community to support the full project life cycle
Working with remote development team responsible for core application code
Consulting with clients (UK banks) on integration with the product
Face to face client meetings

Skills/Requirements:

Full development life cycle
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
5 years+ experience in Microsoft development technologies
C#
WCF & Classic Web Services (asmx)
Entity Framework
MS Test
SQL Server (BI suite advantageous)
Javascript
ASP .NET
Experience in Java would also be useful
Application Lifecycle Management Tools (TFS)
Automated Testing
Experience in client consultancy and integration of heterogeneous applications
