Software Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Designs, develops, and implements software packages.
- Troubleshoots, debugs and implements software code.
- Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (ie, SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript). Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude required.

SKILLS:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be a Developer with Power Exchange experience
- Strong Informatica 9 skills.
- Ability to design, develop and test changes to existing application
- Good working knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with Oracle (10 and/or 11)
- Knowledge of query optimization techniques
- Comfortable with Unix
- Proficient in SQL
- Knowledge of DB2 preferable
- Experience with Hyperion 9.3 Interactive Reporting a plus
- Experience with EDP replication a plus
- At least 5 years experience in Data Warehousing
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Strong facilitation skills
- Experience with Data Analysis and Data Profiling procedures
- Dimensional and relational Data Modeling
- Testing procedures, white and Black Box testing
- 5-7 years experience with PowerExchange, PowerCenter, Sr. Informatica developers
