Software Developer

Federal Government client is seeking the services of Software Developers with broad exposure to Java development platforms on a long term contract

The successful candidate will undertake taks in the area of;

- Test driven development
- Design patterns
- Testing frameworks (JUnit,Concordion)
- Refactoring techniques
- Cohesion and Coupling
- Debugging techniques/tools
- Code coverage and profiling
- Readability,extensibility and testability of code
- Mocking
- Documentation
- Web application security

To be successful your skills and experience will focus on the following;

- Software development experience
- Knowledge of patterns and coding templates
- Expert knowledge of:Java (1.5,1.6)
- Web applications- Servlets and JSP
- Web/Application Servers-WebLogic,Apache JDBC (Oracle)
- Java packaging (JAR,WAR)
- Experience working in aLinux/Unix environment
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Good coding practices
