SOFTWARE DEVELOPER REDMOND, WA CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

Our client is the leading computer components manufacturing company seeking a Software Developer for a premium contract position. This job assignment focuses on providing specialized web development of client logistics and support portal.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Technical Requirements gathering and documentation
- Database structure design and Web Portal design as well as integration and implementation
- System and structure verification and validation including test plan requirements
- Process and website implementation based on process flow
- End user training

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Current experience with IIS web applications using C# and .NET using VS 2008/2010, 3+ years minimum with at least 5 years using C#.NET
- MS SQL (including stored procedures, advanced queries, table design, DB maintenance) using SQL Server 2008, 5+ years
- Experience in database integration to a .NET web application
- Familiarity and experience in Microsoft tools and environment
- Experience in IIS
- Experience in application security in .NET and SQL Server

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- BS in computer science (or related field) or IT degree with focus on web development and security.
- Basic knowledge on secure protocols (SSH, SFTP, HTTPS, SSL certs)
- Experience with ASP.NET or Silverlight a plus
