Software Developer

Designs, develops, and implements software packages. Troubleshoots, debugs and implements software code. Performs a variety of tasks. Will be able to understand the overall architecture of the Meter Data Management (MDM) system and work closely with the Business and IT (Functional and Technical) to analyze issues, troubleshoot production problems, and design and code bug-fixes and enhancements. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a project leader or manager. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.

May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

REQUIRED:

- Strong Analysis & Problem Solving
- Able to grasp system architecture
- Previous exposure to highly complex and integrated systems
- Knowledge of .NET and JAVA preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels
- Ability to take ownership and manage issues
- Experience with Oracle 11g
- SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript

PREFERRED:

- Exposure to Energy/Utilities industry
- Exposure to MDM or LodeStar
- Experience with Oracle Weblogic
- Experience with UC4 software
