Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to join our client in Baltimore, Maryland.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop extensible open source web application software suitable for further use in implementing and deploying non-motorized travel forecasting tools.

Job Qualifications:

- Solid Ruby and/or Python skills
- Lots of JavaScript experience
- Java and JVM experience
- HTTP and Web Services
- SQL (MySQL is okay, MySQL plus PostgreSQL is even better)
- API Integration
- Git and Distributed SCM experience

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

- Lisp
- Clojure
- Code Refactoring
- BigOh notation and understanding of algorithmic complexity.
- NoSQL (MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra, Hadoop)
- AMQP experience
- Erlang
