Software Dev Engineer in Test

Our client is a hugely popular Northwest based company seeking an experienced SDE/SDET to support Browse and Key Phrase Extraction teams. The position entails testing, test framework design and automation of tests (Back End and UI based). We expect the SDET to be able to work independently, understand complex software systems, come up with test plan and automate them. You will be involved in the design and implementation of complex test frameworks and automation.

This position requires NO manual testing.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or similar technical degree, or at least 5 years combination of technical education and work experience
- Experience designing and implementing test cases, running and reporting on quality, and a deep technical understanding of QA methodology and tools such as schedulers, frameworks, and harnesses
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners
- Experience developing in a Linux environment
- Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving, excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS coding experience
- Experience in Selenium
