Digital Video Games Team is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to design and build services and APIs for Game Developers to help them better monetize their games. This is a series of stimulating problems, an environment that's exciting, motivating, fun, and new, and colleagues will challenge you to achieve more than you thought possible, as well as provide great camaraderie.

Use your passion, ingenuity, experience, and pragmatism to build very cool services that will help Game Developers solve problems around game discoverability, monetization, retention, and playability. This team is serious about service-oriented and object-oriented design, code quality, easy maintenance, reliability and software stability.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years relevant work experience OR Master's Degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
- Strong grasp of architecture and advanced engineering principles and design patterns
- Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language
- Experience with C++ or Java, GUI development required
- Knowledge of SOA
- Experience working with databases
- Customer focus and excellent communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers:
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Experience building APIs and services for game developers
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from Front End user interfaces through to Back End systems and all points in between eg CSS, HTML, JavaScript, GWT, Java, web UX design, test
