This is the Day 1 of creating a completely brand new shopping experience for millions of shoppers online. Our client is launching a strategic initiative within their advertising organization to help shoppers to better engage with millions of brands on their hugely popular website. It also helps brands for the first time to present themselves from a holistic, cross-category product offering perspective.

This startup team is going to build a fantastic shopping experience leveraging the state-of-the-art technology and the power of an already huge online retail platform. You're an expert at transforming ideas and conversations into clean UX deliverables, whether the idea came from an extensive UI spec or an ad-hoc whiteboard session with a few members of the team.

You can work between our design and engineering teams to produce crisp user experience

You're able to articulate ideas and context. You also know when to assert yourself and your expertise to "break the tie" in a design decision

You're extremely flexible and able to accommodate and prioritize various demands from multiple sources. You can estimate well and deliver on what you commit to.

Best practices, while acceptable, aren't always the right solution. You know the appropriate time to utilize best practices but also understand the right time to try something new. We value people who take calculated risks.

You understand that failure can be a key ingredient to long-term success. We iterate fast and think long-term about building quality.

You are able to interpret requirements and constraints from multiple sources, primarily product and engineering teams, and are comfortable interacting with both to produce world class customer experience.

You've migrated to E-commerce, receive most of your daily needs through delivery, and rarely visit your local mall

You're excited about the convergence of E-commerce, social and advertising and think the opportunities are limitless with the right product strategy.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years web development
- Experience with highly scalable consumer facing applications
- Expert skills providing clean, extensible and modular CSS, jQuery and HTML for interactive web/mobile experience
- Experience transforming complex UI design into standards-compliant pages/screens with high fidelity to original specs
- Understand and utilize techniques for cross-browser compatibility and testing
- Work within an agile environment and comfortable providing feedback within the team retrospectives
