Software Design Engineer Android

Our client is leading games platform, riding the mobile revolution and creating the most engaging entertainment experiences. Currently this company has a contract opening for an ANDROID DEVELOPER within the team focused on showcasing technologies, design language and user interactions on the Android platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

- Delivering the exciting end user experiences.
- Working with PM and test team to define, design and implement mobile experiences on Android devices.
- Investigating and prototyping new mobile technologies and frameworks.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

- Proficiency in Android development
- Experience in Android UI development
- 3 or more years of experience in mobile development
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Java
- Strong technical background with breadth across mobile application and web services
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to define specifications and develop and implement features
- May be required to present ideas/project plans to multiple teams and/or external customers
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field required
- Master's degree preferred and may substitute for up to 2 years of related experience

This contract position is expected to be up to 1 year in duration.
