Software Design Engineer

Our client is the world's leading computer components manufacturing company seeking a qualified SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEER for an excellent contract opportunity. This Developer will research, design, develop, and maintain software test suites for graphics driver features.

OVERVIEW:

- Test plan authoring, developing test strategy, specifying tests to be performed, analysing test data, root causing test failures, publishing test documentation, participating and performing reviews, resolving test design and implementing issues, and updating tests as needed through the product life cycle
- Working closely with software development team, application engineering team and hardware team
- Providing innovative test designs and/or solutions to enhance efficiency of software testing (such as automating the tests)
- Planning and scheduling work across multiple products to meet published deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience, or a Master's degree with 1 years' experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- Design and development of systems software using C/C++ programming language, Scripting experience with acceptable as replacement
- Experience with Microsoft standard APIs Direct3D, DXVA
